Baktier Ahmed Rony: A Devoted Soul in Technology, Revenue, and Social Service

Baktier Ahmed Rony completed his higher education in Law in 2006. Through long perseverance, research, and professional experience, he established himself as a skilled professional in the fields of revenue and information technology. In 2017, he was selected as an Income Tax Practitioner (ITP) by the National Board of Revenue (NBR).

With the aim of making the revenue system technology-driven and more accessible, he developed various VAT and tax management software, obtaining official approval and encouraging businesses to adopt modern technology. Alongside this, he authored an important book titled “VAT for Everyone”, which provides a clear and simple understanding of VAT law and its application for the general public, businessmen, consultants, and lawyers.

He is equally devoted to social service. For many years, he has been working to reduce unemployment, create skilled manpower, and generate employment opportunities for young people. He tirelessly campaigns against corruption and bribery, striving to establish a just society.

For over 12 years, he has been working relentlessly to improve technology and revenue management. To ensure the security of taxpayers’ information, he established a modern data center with 24/7 service, reducing the risk of sensitive data being transferred abroad.

He has been particularly dedicated to enhancing the skills of the younger generation. To provide practical experience for students studying software and information technology, he offers affordable hosting, domains, cloud storage, backup, and other technical facilities. With four years of perseverance and hard work, and by the grace of Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him), he founded Baktier Ahmed Rony & Associates Ltd.

In the agricultural sector, he conducted four years of research to ensure the use of technology. As a result, he initiated technology-driven farming methods that enable farmers to achieve higher yields with minimal investment. To further enrich the country’s agriculture and fisheries sector, he established Baral Agro & Fisheries Co. Ltd.

To contribute to the energy and mineral resources sector, he founded Baktier Ahmed General Trading OPC. Additionally, to participate in the legal import of aircraft, defense equipment, and related products, he established Baktier Ahmed Dealer Co. Ltd.

To increase foreign currency earnings in Bangladesh and expand international trade in gold, silver, diamonds, and other precious metals, he established The Bar Trading LLC in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and Baktier Ahmed Dealer and Exporter SL Ltd. in Africa.

In his personal life, he is a devout Muslim. Believing in the principles of Shariah, Marifat, Haqiqat, and Tariqat, he dedicates himself to serving humanity, animals, and social welfare. He often humbly says, “I am the greatest sinner on this earth.” Yet, he holds deep love for Allah, His Messenger (peace be upon him), the Ahl al-Bayt, the noble Companions, and the saints of Allah, hoping that Allah will forgive him through their intercession and grant him Paradise.

Born on August 23, 1985, Baktier Ahmed Rony hails from Munshiganj district in the Dhaka division. His father is Md. Mojibur Rahman and his mother is Selina Akter. In his family life, he has built a happy household with his wife Fahmida Akter, two sons, and one daughter.

He often resolves the problems of helpless and poor people without charging any fees. His patriotism, generosity, dedication, and human values are undoubtedly praiseworthy. We hope that he will achieve even greater prosperity and success in the future, standing beside the helpless worldwide and making even greater contributions to human welfare.
